Travels!

Every year, my family and I go to La Serena, because my mom has all her family there. We love them! So we go to visit them every summer vacation, winter vacation, easter week, national holidays, and honestly every time we got the enough time. We make a great team haha. Our favorite place to travel is Elqui, because is such a magical and beautiful place! Everyone in my family notices that something changes us, like we calm down and only enjoy the time between us.
In summer vacations we only stayed in Paihuano, but for some reason one time, years ago, we decided to change of place. Bad option. We were all the day searching for a house in Cochiguaz for all of us, but we were 14 people that day, and there were missing 4 more! Also we had 4 dogs with us! Haha We couldn’t find a nice house, near to the river (because the heat in the valley in summer is incredible) that were comfortable for each one. So we decided to go finally to Paihuano, to the house that every one of my family loves. The problem was that some of us traveled by bus and the others arrived later, then when we wanted to go to Paihuano we didn’t fit in the van, that was full of things behind. So 5 people had to travel on top of them. Haha I was one of them. But when we arrived to the highway, those 5 people had to travel inside the van. We were 14 persons and 4 dogs inside haha Now I don’t remember how we made it, but I know that if we had to do it again, we will make it.

I don’t have an specific favorite travel, but I think I love every travel that I make with my family because always is different and fun. We have discovered hide rivers and river pools. We have gone to Mamalluca observatory, we stayed until 4 am for saw Saturn!We have gone to Gabriela Mistral's house in Montegrande. We have gone to Cochiguaz, Alcohuaz, Vicuña, Paihuano, Diaguitas, Orcón, Pisco Elqui. I really, really love Elqui. The fauna and flora is incredible and beautiful, the sky is very clean, in the days there are not cluds, and in the night is full of stars. The air is fresh, the Elqui river is amazing and also, I don't know how to say it, but the aura in that place is different, is like this place has some magig that makes everything better.

    Hahaha! nice story! it reminds me my family. I have a similar story, but we were into the car with 7 dogs! and many people, can you imagine that? hahaha!
    I agree with you, nothing better than a trip with the family to have a fun time :)

    My family live in pisco Elqui, I always go there, I really love "Valle del Elqui"
    Is a good place for relax and have a good time.

    I have also traveled with many people and things in the back of a car but was the worst experience ever because were 10 hours of travel and no air!

    I only went once to La Serena but I didn't get to El Elqui. For your photos, I imagine it's beautiful!

I have always liked to dance but I never thought about taking classes. I had a friend that motivated me to dance belly dance with her in a workshop of high school in 2014. A country that I would visit

I would like to go to the U.S.A. Honestly I don’t like to much this country, but since I had memory I have always wanted to go to Hawaii. I know this state is part of the Polynesian culture (and I love that culture). This place It’s full of nature, with an incredible flora and fauna (in the island and the ocean) and landscapes. Also, the music is beautiful; it’s melodious and motivated, same as their traditional dance, the Hula. If I had the opportunity to go there I would: go to dance classes (to learn the Hula), learn to play different traditional instruments, like the Ipu and Pahu.; visit and swim in the six islands (and If I could with dolphins haha), diving, go to the Luau or others traditional Hawaiian parties and finally talk with the people of Hawaii to learn more about their culture. My name is Gianella Simone Grimaldi Ossandón, I was born on January 12 th , in 1999. My parents are Alvaro and Marcela. I have one younger brother and one older sister; she has a son of 4 years. So I’m in the middle. Also I have a pet, a Yorkshire toy called Luna, she is 8 years. I have lived with my family my whole life in San Bernardo, Santiago. From 2004 to 2016 I attended to the same school in primary and high school (Sagrado Corazón Institute, San Bernardo). In primary I went to scout for 3 years.
